By creating a PlatOS account, you agree to these terms. We've kept them plain-English on purpose — read the whole thing in five minutes.
PlatOS is a software tool for tracking restaurant inventory, invoices, sales, and food-cost percentages. You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any decisions you make based on what PlatOS reports.
You agree not to:
The AI invoice scanner is a convenience feature. It is not perfect. You are responsible for reviewing scanned invoices and confirming accuracy before saving items to your inventory. PlatOS is not liable for errors in transcription.
We aim for high uptime but make no formal guarantees. The service is provided "as is", without warranty. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages will happen — we'll do our best to keep them rare.
Free-tier features are listed in the app. Paid (Pro) features, when launched, will have prices clearly displayed before you subscribe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with no refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
You own your data. We don't claim any rights to your inventory items, sales numbers, invoice records, or business information. You can export your data as CSV at any time, and you can delete your account whenever you like (see the Privacy Policy).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlatOS and its founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months (or $100 if you're on a free plan).
You can stop using PlatOS at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, attempt to harm the service, or remain inactive for extended periods. If we terminate your account, we'll give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data first, except in cases of severe abuse.
If we materially change these terms, we'll email registered users at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which PlatOS is operated. Any disputes will first be addressed in good faith between you and the PlatOS founder. If we can't resolve them, jurisdiction lies in the appropriate state or federal court.
